Ordinance No. 6 of 1860 which passed the Legislative Council on the 30th ultimo.

The Acting Attorney General has

furnished the usual Summary, and I have to add that the measure gives renewed effect to Mr. Labouchere's Circular of 11th December 1857, which had been carried out

by Ordinance No. 5 of 1858, now repealed,

reported in my Despatch No. 72 of this date.
